One terminal, which helps — mostly

The drop-off zone charges by time
The short-stay drop-off area outside the terminal is metered and charges from the moment you arrive, with the price climbing the longer you stay — it is not designed for a lingering goodbye. A pre-booked transfer removes this entirely: your driver drops you directly at the terminal doors and drives off, with no ticket to buy and no clock running.
Parking, if you are driving yourself
Bristol Airport offers short-stay multi-storey parking directly by the terminal and cheaper long-stay options further out with a shuttle bus connection. Pre-booking parking online, well before travel, is consistently cheaper than turning up and paying on the day — but it still means a walk or a shuttle transfer with your luggage, and a walk back to a cold car at the end of a long trip.
Weighed against a fixed-price taxi that collects you at your own front door and drops you at the terminal directly, parking is rarely the cheaper option once you count the shuttle time and the inconvenience for a family or a group.
Arrivals: where to actually wait
